Limitations of our schedule
We are likely booked for the current year, but you could reach out to us about bookings in the more distant future. We usually start thinking about the following year in January, but our timing can be entirely random.
We aim for a nice mix of concerts (singer/songwriter, acoustic, folk), social dances (swing, bluegrass, country), and bands that are new to us plus returning favorites.
We hesitate to do events November through mid-May because the weather is too unpredictable, and we don’t like to have to cancel. Winter shows are subject to rescheduling or cancellation.
The Boulder County house concert code limits us to 12 events per year, up to 100 people, and up to 6 hours long. We get many, many more requests than we can possibly handle.
Unfortunately, because of the county code constraints, we are seldom able to host artists who email us, especially those who are planning near-term tours with specific dates. The best way to get on our schedule is through a personal connection—when we see your band at a local venue, for example.
We'd love to host everyone who contacts us, but that's just not possible given our limitations, so please understand if we don't get back to you.
